Battery and power
The camera comes with built-in battery, but you can use the power adaptor that was included in the box if you plan to use it for long term period. The camera will not use the battery when it uses the power adaptor. For the receiver, it comes with a cradle for recharging, and the receiver still functions properly while it recharging in the cradle.
Audio detection
The Lorex LW2002W wireless surveillance camera system feature an audio detection which the camera is capable to detect the sounds even the faintest sounds because it is so sensitive. But the sensitivity can be adjusted by scrolling up or down on the camera’s Sound Alarm Trigger. So once noise is detected, the receiver will alert you with the alarm.
Power Saver Mode
The power saver mode will turn off the display and audio in the receiver, once the camera detects noise, the display and audio are automatically turn on and alert you with the alarm.
Wireless Ability
This surveillance camera system is work wirelessly. And the receiver can receive wireless transmission up to 450ft max from the camera. And the “Out of Range” notification will notify you once the camera and receiver are not able to communicate with a good signal.
Audio and Video Out
The Lorex LW2002W wireless surveillance camera A/V Cable plugs into the cradle output and in to a TV/VCR or Monitor. And the image can be displayed as a PIP on a TV. So you still can monitor while watching TV.
