iRobots – iRobot 330 Scooba Floor-Washing Robot

Floor Types

This iRobot floor washing can reach up to 250 square feet on a single battery charge, but it depends on the floor type, room layout, battery age, and amount of debris.
Four Stage Cleaning Method
The robot do the job with the four stage of cleaning method includes:
- Preps stage: Sweeps and picks up dirt, sand and crumbs.
- Washes stage: Uses only clean solution to wash floors (mops just spread around dirty water).
- Scrubs stage: Rotating brushes remove dirt, grime and stuck-on messes.
- Dries stage: The final step which squeegee lifts dirty water from floors.
The machine of this robot uses clean tap water, a water and vinegar mixture, or deep cleaning fresh-scented Clorox Scooba cleaning solution. Autonomous cleaning pattern covers each area an average of 4 times
Sensors
Thanks to the cliff sensing technology, the iRobot Scooba will avoids carpets, rugs, ledges, and stairs. It will ensure you that this stuff will not damaged that surface. It can reach the places that hard to reach such as beneath the cabinet edges, tables, chairs, etc. Like other iRobots, you can mark off-limit areas with an infra red beam that the robot will not cross, it is called Virtual Wall feature.
